b. 16 December 1997

The UNC Herbarium has catalogued approximately 60 specimens collected by Lillian McCormick. She and co-collectors Mark Peifer, Rose Peifer, and Carol Ann McCormick are documenting the flora of Alamance County, North Carolina.

She is an annual participant in the Great Smoky Mountains Wildflower Pilgrimage. She is adept at finding Tipularia discolor (Pursh) Nuttall and salamanders.

Every summer she enjoys hiking in the Tuolumne Meadows area of Yosemite National Park with her aunt, Barbara McCormick. In August 2007 she traveled to Turkey with her family and friends, Gwen & Aziz Sancar.
